How to Get Fit After Childbirth
By Des Ingham Platinum Quality Author

Here are some tips on how to get fit after childbirth. Childbirth is a wonderful experience, but the only downside is that after the event it can leave you mentally and physically drained, with a big belly and saggy boobs!

So let us look at ways of how to get you back looking better than ever, with a hot looking body and energy to burn.

When you have had your child you need to regain your energy levels first and foremost. Childbirth takes a lot out of you and the extra weight you have carried will have left your resources low.

So it is important you eat the right foods, plenty of fruit and vegetables, and protein such as chicken and fish. You can eat foods that help you to burn up fat and speed up your metabolism, such as red and black berries, and dark chocolate that is at least 70% cocoa solids.

You need to snack more, rather than eat big meals all at once. Never go more than 4 hours without eating, and this will help to restore your sugar levels to the optimum level.

You will not have time to spend hours down at the gym once you have had your baby, and the fact is you do not need to anyway.

You can do short, sharp bursts of resistance training exercises at home, of around 15 minutes each session. Do not overdo these, you can use these exercises every other day and they will have a wonderful effect on your body. You do not need expensive gym equipment to tone up your body, use the power of your own body to provide resistance for your exercises.

An excellent guide called the Fit Yummy Mummy Lifestyle System, and you can find details on this at HealthAndFitness
